On the 30^th March 2011 the Camborne Redruth & District Lions Club held a presentation

The Camborne Redruth & District Lions Club was on the prowl at Morrison’s Pool collecting donations for the Cornwall Children’s Hospice South West “Precious Lives” Appeal.

The Lions successfully lured many shoppers to their stall by offering a free raffle ticket in exchange for a donation to the appeal.

Over a three day period (10^th Feb to 12^th Feb) the shopping public at Morrison’s donated a fabulous £500.

A spokesman from the Camborne Redruth and District Lions Club said that they would like to sincerely thank Morrison’s, Pool and the many members of the public who donated to the appeal.

 The results were as follows:-

 1st    Ticket No 191  Mr Weare, Alexandra Road, Illogan.

2nd   Ticket No 146   Mrs Tredidga, Park Road, Redruth.

3rd    Ticket No 64     G. Aveyard, Mount Ambrose, Redruth

4th    Ticket No 349    J. Hitchens, West Tolgus, Redruth
