Portreath Harbour Fun Day 2010

 We had a beautiful position located on the sea end of the harbour, The set up crew arrived on time and soon our two gazebo pitch was up and running. As the weather improved, the crowd increased as did our fund raising via the Key Box and Soft Toys Tombola.

 All in all it was a very good day for us. It was a good PR day interacting with the visitors, nobody won the Key box £50 (shame)  and consequently our Charity Account  was increased by £167.

 To top off the day  Lion Ken Powell set up a book stall on Portreath Beach and raised a further £59.

Fundraising would have gone a bit better if our very own Ian Mitchell hadn't decided to perform his strip tease routine.
