The 9th Swimarathon was held on the 20th March at Carn Brea Leisure Centre, which saw over 20 teams take part to raise money for St. Julia's hospice and other good causes. Some teams performed better than others and some team members performed better than others.

The Camborne and Redruth Lions Club entered two teams the 'Bells & Beaus' (pictured bottom left) and 'Sink 'n' Swim' (pictured bottom right). Yours truly took part for the first time and once I got over my embarrassment (pictured right) I embarrassed myself all over again with my lack of fitness.

We would like to thank everyone who took part and helped raise money. A truly good effort!
