The difficult current economic climate existing in the UK has not impaired the generosity of the customers of Tesco Camborne says Camborne Redruth & District Lions Club President Kevin Brown. This year we have been able to supply 46 needy families with food parcels that contain all the ingredients necessary for a nourishing Christmas Dinner from the proceeds of our Tesco collection. |

Ladies Christmas Fayre |

On Saturday 26th Nov 2011 the Camborne Redruth & District Lions Club's Ladies held their annual Christmas Fayre at Heathcoat's Social Club Pool. where customer were greeted at the entrance by two animated Father Christmas' whilst the real Father Christmas was seated in his Grotto. Once again the Fayre proved a hugh success and in excess of £500 was raised for the Lion's Charity account resulting from the profits of the many colourful and varied stalls in the hall. |

32nd Companion Dog Show |

60 dogs of all sizes and varieties totalling 201entries competed in 17 classes at the Camborne Redruth & District Lions Club 32nd Annual Companion Dog Show held at the Redruth Community Centre Redruth on the 6th November which was an unqualified success enjoyed by all who took part. |
