Welcome

Welcome to the Camborne & Redruth District Lions Club. We invite you to explore our site to see who we are, what we do and why we do it. We will be adding new pages and new links over the coming months so please bookmark our site and return regularly to view the events we have organised or we are attending throughout the year.

All Lions Clubs are always looking for new members to help the Lions raise funds so that they can help those less fortunate than ourselves and are in need, primarily locally but also nationally and internationally.

If you live in our area and would like to join us in our endeavours (on a wholly voluntary basis) please go to the link to our Membership Secretary and let him have your details. If you live outside our area he will be pleased to pass your details to your nearest Lions club.

I would like to emphasise that 100% of the monies raised by Lions are for charitable purposes, all administration costs are paid for by the members of the Lions.

Now please continue to browse through our site and, if you feel you can help us in any way, please do get in touch.

Our Sponsors
Whilst every Lion member gives his or her time free of charge, in order to raise money for the causes we support, we often incur expenses like pitch rental and prizes etc. In order to maximise the money raised local companies and individuals have been helping us with those expenses by sponsoring events and we would like to say a big thank you to them all and we hope you will support them by using their products and services.

Please click the link below to view our very generous sponsors.

'Caught in the Act'
As the crowds began to build on Sunday afternoon at Portreath's Harbour Fun Day, our very own Lion Ian Mitchell (pictured left) decided to entertain the ladies with a strip tease in return for donations. The 30p we received, will of course go straight into the charity account and we would like to apologise to anyone who felt a little unwell.

Sponsors Urgently Needed.
If you would like to help the Lions help others in the community why not sponsor an event? For as little as £20, you can help us make sure every last penny raised goes to a worthy cause. If you are interested please contact Lion Alan Hampton
