Camborne & Redruth Lions are holding a table top and craft fair at Heathcoats Social Club Sunday 28th November 10am - 2pm

Limited tables available for £10 each. Tables are payable in advance and non-refundable.

It was the Camborne Redruth Lion’s first social get together for over a year when they held their belated handover lunch at Tehidy Golf Club.

Lion President David Broadhurst 2020/2021 was re-elected and after handing over to himself had much pleasure in presenting Melvin Jones Fellow awards to Lion Secretary Steve Young and Pat Bray.

New Book Rack in Perranporth

August 2021

As our many of our events have been cancelled due to Covid, we decided to raise some funds by adding a new rack of books to The Hub Cafe in Perranporth. Many thanks to Lion Alan for building teh rack and for the owner of the Hub Cafe for giving us permission to have the rack there.

On behalf of the entire Lions Club we would like to say a massive thank you to Pat Bray, who with the assistance of Lion Paul Bray, has raised £2,000 from the sale of her face masks. The £2,000 will be slit equally between The Camborne and Redruth Lions Club and The Children's Hospice SW.

Our Lion President David Broadhurst and his wife Viv, popped round to present them both with a nice box of chocolates.

Face Masks for Charity

Like all societies and clubs the Lions have had their fundraising severely restricted by the Coronavirus epidemic.

The Lions, via Pat Bray, came up with a very satisfactory solution by making very reasonable priced £2 face masks to sell to the public.

The Country Store Health Foods Shop in Redruth Bond Street, without hesitation, agreed to sell the masks from their shop and to date in excess of £1200 has been raised.

All monies taken will be donated equally between the Lion’s Charity account and Children’s Hospice SW

Cow Pat Competition

21st April 2020

On the 20th April, Farmer, Tony Pearce led his cows into a field in Troon, to pick a winner of this year's 'Cow Pat' competition. The cow concerned duly obliged and selected plot 792.The winner was Sylvia Strutt from Tuckingmill (pictured below).

Over £1,500 was raised by this competition which was donated to Alzheimers Research UK earlier this month.
