Every year the Camborne & Redruth Lions Club join forces with Big Sue’s, Camborne Mixed Darts League for a darts marathon to raise money for a local good cause.

This year’s charity was the Sunrise Centre at Treliske Hosptial. The centre is the only oncology (cancer) centre for Cornnwall and provides vital care for cancer patients.

The darts marathon involves a number of teams competing against each other  in order to score as many doubles as they can. Each team gains sponsorship for the event with the winners getting a trophy as do the team that raises the most money.

The total money raised this year was £2,250
