Every year the Camborne & Redruth Lions Club join forces with Big Sue’s, Camborne Mixed Darts League for a darts marathon to raise money for a local good cause.

This year’s charity was the Penhaligon’s Friends who support children suffering with grief.

The darts marathon involves a number of teams competing against each other  in order to score as many doubles as they can. Each team gains sponsorship for the event with the winners getting a trophy as do the team that raises the most money.

The total money raised this year was £1,750


Cheque for £1,750 presented to Sue Coombes from Penhaligon’s Friends and a bouquet of flowers to Sue Shepherd for her help that she provided in running the Dart’s Marathon.

Albany Club:- scored 587 doubles and raised £190 for Penhaligon’s Friends.

Chough’s Feathers: – scored 261 doubles and raised £349 for Penhaligon’s Friends.
